Since 2016, we at SEMrush have been developing tools for content marketers and analyzing their challenges. 

With multiple surveys, user interviews and in-depth persona research, our team learnt that proving the effectiveness of their content strategies is one of the most complex tasks content marketers have. 

We also found out that their main goal is to сreate content that works for different funnel stages. Teams focused mostly on generating quality leads (54% of marketers we surveyed) and attracting more traffic (52%).

With this in mind, we have developed a solution designed specifically for content marketing teams.

Today, we’re excited to present ImpactHero, our brand-new AI tool that breaks down your content by customer journey stages, detects the most impactful copy and gives actionable tips on improving your content.

ImpactHero automatically distributes your content by funnel stages — reach, nurturing, leads — and measures your pieces’ performance.

It is now easy to figure out which marketing tactics lead to success at different funnel stages. Using ImpactHero, you can easily detect which stage needs improvement to adjust your focus and which stage already brings results to report to stakeholders. 

ImpactHero highlights areas for improving different funnel stages and provides performance-driven recommendations for specific content pieces. Use the tool to get actionable tips on boosting your underperforming copy and scale up the success of content that converts.

ImpactHero measures how well content performs at different funnel stages, and identifies how a certain page may influence your conversion using a Markov chain based model.

It gives a great opportunity to see how successful your content is in terms of attracting new visitors, lead generation, and indirect conversion. Impact Score, our proprietary metric, reveals which content can encourage users to become leads, and what type of content fits a specific funnel stage.
